"Therapy is a deeply human activity: it’s about two people meeting in a genuine, authentic encounter."

About me.

I work with individuals and couples who are feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or struggling to cope, whether due to anxiety, low mood, grief, self-doubt, or relationship difficulties. I believe therapy works best when it feels real and human, so I bring empathy, curiosity, and, when helpful, a sense of humour. My aim is to help you feel comfortable, as we explore the challenges you're facing and discover new ways of coping and understanding yourself.

My Qualifications

I hold an MA in Clinical Psychology and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). My additional training includes the Gottman Method for couples therapy, the BICA Foundation Course in infertility counselling, and certification in the PEARLS programme, an evidence-based approach to treating depression in adults. I work integratively and relationally, drawing on evidence-based approaches and a background in clinical psychology to support each client in a way that feels thoughtful, personal, and grounded.

My Experience

I have experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and groups as well as working in hospital-based neurorehabilitation. Over the years, I’ve supported clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My approach is flexible and relational, tailored to your needs and focused on building a safe and supportive connection.

My Specialities

I work with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I have a particular interest in supporting individuals and couples through fertility challenges, pregnancy loss, and parenting, offering sensitive and compassionate care during what can be a deeply isolating time. I also support families and caregivers affected by dementia, stroke, and other neurological conditions, helping them manage the emotional impact and find ways to feel more supported and connected.

CONTACT ME

If you’d like to book a session or have any questions about how I work, please feel free to get in touch. I’d be happy to talk things through and help you decide if this feels like the right fit for you.
